After the Heath Oslo incident, the CIRS anti-terror organization co-founded by the US and Japan was exposed to the public. Due to this revelation, it was rebuilt from the ground up and its covert functions were separated to form a new agency called SORD (Social Ops, Research & Development).
SORD's primary objective is to produce a new generation of operatives capable of defending the nation against potential threats. Consequently, the organization has set up several specialist training schools across the country, with Mihama Academy being one of them. Mihama Academy had been abandoned and left to decay following its sudden closure, but has now been repurposed.
The academy is now home to a diverse group of students who continuously practice and enhance their unique skills, even going as far as using firearms with live ammunition. These misfit girls are frequently assigned dangerous extrajudicial missions all in the name of serving their country.
Although they've been given a place in the world, it's not enough for them to merely exist without meaning. The girls live by their own strength and fight for survival constantly, seeking redemption for those who persevere.
Despite the constant challenges and trials they face, what fate awaits these girls who have chosen the path of the gun?
