As Mafuyu Satou emerges from his dimly-lit apartment, Gibson guitar in hand, he prepares to face another day of high school. Seeking solace on the gymnasium stairs, Satou encounters Ritsuka Uenoyama, a fellow student who scolds him for neglecting his instrument's strings. With Uenoyama's evident skill, Satou pleads for his expertise and guidance. Although hesitant at first, Uenoyama ultimately invites Satou to participate in a jam session with his bandmates Haruki Nakayama and Akihiko Kaji. Unexpectedly, Satou's voice captivates Uenoyama, leading him to designate Satou as their band's lead singer. Initially uncertain of this role, Satou agrees after confiding in an old friend. With the support of his newfound companions, Satou not only learns to play guitar but also unravels the perplexing origins of his beloved instrument.
