One year after the events depicted in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the city of Midgar is under attack by a mysterious group of soldiers known as the Deep Ground Soldiers. Vincent Valentine, an enigmatic figure with a possible connection to the attacks, may be the only hope for saving the devastated world. Alongside characters from both Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Vincent sets out to save Midgar, uncovering shocking truths that were previously unknown in the game's CG movies. It should be noted that these events take place after the Meteor disaster, which left Vincent buried alive.
