In 2150, a new approach is taken to confront the Festums - beings from outer space made of silicon. Fragments from a North Pole installation named Mir spread across the world, evolving into independent groups known as Mirs. While some of these groups display aggression towards humans and launch brutal attacks, others strive to form an alliance with mankind. The situation escalates with the emergence of hybrids possessing traits of both Festum and humans, causing even greater chaos and instability.
