Upon winning first prize in a lucky draw, Hakuya Mitsumine receives tickets to a hot spring of his choosing. His sister Mashiro has her heart set on a specific hot spring in a village that is surrounded by rumors of sightings of elusive and mysterious creatures. Fully supportive of his sister, Hakuya and a few friends embark on a journey to the village. The group ventures into a dark forest with the hope of catching a glimpse of the rumored creatures, but they are unexpectedly faced with strange and spooky occurrences. Despite being sidetracked from their original agenda, the group remains steadfast in their determination to locate the creatures, lest they leave with their inquisitiveness unfulfilled.
