On a peaceful afternoon, the Son family and their friends wandered around West City indulging in some shopping. However, the city was visited by two strangers who wreaked havoc, destroying everything that crossed their path. While the Son family was enjoying their meal, the building was suddenly attacked. It turned out that the malevolent duo was after Son Goku. When Goku realized that innocent people were being attacked in his name, he became incensed. Trunks joined forces with Goku to lead the mechanical men out of the city. Once the battle was taken elsewhere, Goku and Gohan dressed up in crisp white tuxedos and returned to West City. They took the opportunity to showcase clips and highlights from the earlier Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z movies. Goku was not too thrilled about being decked out in formal attire and ended up powering up to change back to his traditional apparel. Though Gohan tried to do the same, he wasn't strong enough to get out of the tuxedo. Goku told him that he would get there someday while Gohan encouraged everyone to go to theaters to see "Extreme Battle!! The Three Great Super Saiyans."
