Previously a calm location, Lisvalletta is now unsettled due to the appearance of a harmful new substance, known as Anthem, that induces Overdrive and grants unnatural abilities. Despite efforts by the authorities, SEVEN-O must step in to combat the growing threat, relying on teamwork and the "Double Decker" system to ensure their safety. As a child, Kirill Vrubel always dreamt of becoming a hero capable of protecting his school from a possible terrorist attack. However, after being coerced by his landlady to locate her lost cat, he unknowingly gets caught up in a hostage situation with an Anthem user at a deserted warehouse. Thanks to detective Douglas "Doug" Bilingam from SEVEN-O, Kirill has a chance to make his dream come true by joining the team and uncovering the secrets behind this private organization.
