On a typical day, Lala Satalin Deviluke makes the decision to display her latest invention, a robotic feline with cloning capabilities, to her friend Rito Yuuki in school. However, mayhem ensues when Rito mistakenly triggers the device, leading to a horde of clones inundating the entire campus. Turning off the cat requires grasping its tail, yet its agility proves to be a challenge. Will Rito and his clones manage to chase down the cat, or will an unstoppable flood of duplicates inundate the planet?
