After a digital reset, the Digimon partners of the Chosen Children reunite with their human friends, but have no recollection of them. With efforts to rebuild their bonds underway, Sora Takenouchi is met with difficulties as Piyomon is hesitant to communicate. Amidst their struggles, an enemy Digimon attack causes the group to scatter across the Digital World. Simultaneously, Daigo Nishijima from the Incorporated Administrative Agency receives a concerning message about Meicoomon being chased under the alias "Libra." Luckily, Meicoomon remembers her partner Meiko Mochizuki, who embarks alone into the Digital World in search of her. To uncover the mysterious forces behind these events, the Chosen Children must navigate their way through the regenerated Digital World and find a way back home.
