Jang Geum is the protagonist of this story, an enthusiastic cook who gets the opportunity to work as a palace servant. Her wit and amiable nature allow her to bond with her co-servants, but her contentment is fleeting as she becomes embroiled in a complex and deceitful scheme. Co-produced by Korean and Japanese creators, this tale is a result of their collaborative efforts.
