Miyuki Hoshizora, a teenager, views fairy tales as a world full of wonder and happy endings. With this inspiration, she searches for happiness every day. On her first day as a transfer student, running late and rushed, Miyuki encounters a mysterious fairy named Candy from Märchenland, the world of fairy tales. Unfortunately, Candy disappears as quickly as she appeared, leading Miyuki to believe that it was all a dream. After a busy day, Miyuki discovers a mysterious library at her new school. She is suddenly transported to Candy's world, where Candy informs her of her search for the legendary warriors, Precure. In order to protect Candy's happiness and that of everyone else, Miyuki transforms into Cure Happy, one of the Precure warriors! As Cure Happy, Miyuki must locate the other legendary warriors and defend the world from destruction, all while possibly finding her own happy ending.
