Introducing Chako and her crew from the Cosplay Association at East Oizuki Academy, supposedly the newest and hottest cosplay squad in Japan, flying high after securing several local victories and aiming to dominate the Cosplay World Series. However, the truth is far from the hype. Their club struggles with minimal membership and shortage of funding, putting their cosplay aspirations in jeopardy. But don't be fooled by appearances; these spirited girls won't let anything stop them. They face a series of challenges, from creepy newcomers to cosplay rivalries, wardrobe malfunctions, and disastrous dates, in pursuit of their ultimate dream - competing in the World Series.
