In Japan, Magic File 2 and PPV episodes of the show (including the NY case) were exclusively available at certain retailers, specifically those equivalent to 7-11 stores. The Movie 12 Side-Story OVA, showcasing Kudou Shinichi and offering some backstory on the upcoming movie, was included on the first disc. The second disc contained the PPV episodes.
