Following a nuclear disaster, the surface of Earth has become barren and unsuitable for habitation. Consequently, those who managed to survive have sought shelter underwater until such time that they can emerge on the surface again. Amamiku, with the aid of her steadfast computer aides, Pyron and Mayzamik, protects the critical DNA-laden seeds needed to revive life on the surface once the atmosphere is habitable. Nonetheless, this objective is not supported by all.
