With a strong sense of justice, Hotaru Tachibana cannot resist confronting those who perform malicious acts. She is also a girl who enjoys disguising herself as a boy. When she learns about her best friend's experience with a deceitful popular host from a local club, she decides to punish him. However, during her visit to the club, she is challenged by Masamune Matsuoka to join his Toy Gun Gun team after losing a "survival game." Initially unhappy, Hotaru eventually grows to love survival games and vows to pay off her debt. Despite Tooru Yukimura's disapproval, she becomes determined to help the team win the Top Combat Game (TCG). Unfortunately, she struggles to play the game, and the team doesn't allow female members.
