Princess Vanilla is the protagonist of the movie, which takes place in a kingdom of ice cream. Despite her daily practice, she is unable to make ice cream, which frustrates her immensely. Driven by frustration, she leaves her palace and encounters Anpanman and Kokin-chan during her journey. She discovers the underlying cause of her inability to make ice cream while traveling with them. Meanwhile, the land of ice cream falls under attack from Baikinman while Princess Vanilla is away.
