It's a new year at Kitauji High School and the concert band is starting fresh. With the departure of the third-year seniors, a new group of first-year juniors bring their quirks to the band. They all have their sights set on qualifying for nationals and work tirelessly during practices to achieve their goal. Kumiko Oumae and her gang are back for their second year, but they're struggling to connect with the new first-years. These differences create tension within the band, causing conflicts to arise. As time passes, they begin to understand each other more, but some issues remain unresolved. The band's trust and unity will be put to the test as they prepare for regionals.
