The same-named video game is preceded by a prequel. Taking place 6 years prior to the game's events in 2065, the video features three Fenrir Far East branch "divine weapons" wielders - a top-tier military unit - who participate in a military operation against the formidable Aragami creatures. One of these three members, Souma, is the protagonist in the video game.
