Chaika, Toru, and their group remain resolute in their quest to locate Emperor Gaz's remains. Despite this, Chaika finds herself uncertain about her own purpose and sense of self. An enigmatic individual named Guy prompts her to search for the "Emperor's Fortune," which is covertly tucked away on a secluded island, in order to uncover the mysteries of her past. As for Toru, who is caught between his loyalty as a saboteur and his burgeoning emotions for Chaika, he takes on the task of rescuing her from any danger she may encounter - even if it requires him to confront the harsh realities concerning her own existence.
