Before Naruto Uzumaki's birth, the Nine-Tailed Fox, or Kyuubi, wrought destruction upon Konohagakure, the Hidden Leaf Village. In an act of selflessness, the Fourth Hokage sacrificed himself to seal the vicious creature within the newborn Naruto, thus ending the terror. Despite carrying Kyuubi within him, Naruto is a hyperactive and impulsive ninja of Konohagakure who is often shunned by others. Despite this, his fervent desire to become Hokage motivates him to seek acceptance within the village. Along his journey, Naruto must navigate the treacherous waters of both deadly foes and trusted allies.
