Ink Nijihara, a high school student, feels the pangs of heartbreak as her crush, Nao Tezuka, barely registers her existence. To make matters worse, Ink is also struggling with her height. Nevertheless, her destiny transforms when she encounters a duck and becomes a "mahou shoujo". Taking on the guise of this enchanted being, Ink tries to help Nao learn English.
