In the 25th century, a ship carrying 300 individuals embarks on a journey to find a new world within the solar system. However, fate intervenes when the ship collides with a black hole that connects them to another universe. Left adrift in an emergency capsule, they eventually reach Ismo, a planet within the Onam System, which corresponds to their own solar system. This planet is the only one left, with the rest destroyed in a war against an evil creature, Yamatano Orochi, by the gods who locked it away in eight stones. Unfortunately, an evil god named Tsukuyomi manages to acquire seven of the stones by destroying each planet using his powerful robots called Sky Warriors. However, when he tries to obtain the final stone from Ismo, his operation goes awry, and the most potent warrior, Susanoo, is blown away. Twelve years pass, and the Death Star Yomi returns, with Tsukuyomi determined to acquire the final stone and rule the universe. Susanoo, no longer owned by Tsukuyomi, belongs to a boy named Takeru, who stumbles upon the buried robot and reactivates it. Takeru becomes embroiled in a battle against Tsukuyomi and his Sky Soldiers to protect Ismo and their friends. Susanoo fights to defend their planet and their very existence.
