The second season of Ushio to Tora (TV) continues the story of a fearsome creature that terrorized the land until a heroic samurai defeated it with the legendary "Beast Spear". Life takes an unexpected turn for middle schooler Ushio Aotsuki when he discovers the same monster in a hidden chamber beneath his family's shrine, along with the spear that sealed it away. But with other supernatural beings drawn to the beast and the weapon, Ushio has no choice but to release it and face a host of menacing spirits and demons together. Though he names the creature "Tora", Ushio is dubious about forming an alliance with it. Nevertheless, they join forces to battle their otherworldly enemies.
