Half a century ago, Ultraman, a colossal being from outer space, saved Earth from devastation. However, he vanished after this feat, leaving Shin Hayata, his human vessel, without any recollection of his valiant deed. Shinjirou, Hayata's offspring, possesses an extraordinary physique that sets him apart from ordinary humans. The SSSP, the organization that aided Ultraman, assists Hayata in recollecting his previous life, pushing him to don his power suit and become Ultraman once more. When Bemular, an alien, gravely wounds his father, and the city falls under threat, Shinjirou steps up as Ultraman. As he collaborates with the SSSP, Shinjirou begins to ponder the extent to which he is willing to sacrifice himself for the welfare of others.
