Due to the impending danger of the Blackhole, the Autobots are compelled to leave their home planet of Cybertron, and Optimus Prime readies them for their journey to Earth. But before their departure, Vector Prime interrupts to caution Optimus of the peril to the galaxy if the four Cyber Planet Keys remain uncollected. Meanwhile, Megatron has his own intentions for the universe. As they begin their quest, they discover unexplored planets inhabited by various Transformer communities led by their Convoys.
