This decision has caused his friends to doubt his true intentions and loyalty. As tensions between ghouls and the government escalate, the Commission of Counter Ghoul, a government agency specialized in anti-ghoul tactics, intensifies their efforts to eradicate all ghouls from Tokyo. This poses a threat to Kaneki's peaceful life with friends at the Anteiku coffee shop. In the face of these dangers, Kaneki must engage in multiple battles that challenge his humanity.
