Diego Vega learns of his homeland's dictatorship upon completing his educational journey. Incensed by this injustice, he adopts the alter-ego of Zorro to protect the marginalized and oppressed. Despite his gallantry, Diego fails to capture the affections of his beloved Lolita, who prefers the company of other heroic figures. In his guise as Zorro, Diego strives to win Lolita's love even as he battles the injustices of his nation.
