Glory, initially just another MMORPG, has gained real-world recognition with the increasing number of countries acknowledging esports as an official sport. In China, preparations are underway for the first professional league of Glory, culminating in the Glory Championship. Ye Qiu and Su Muqiu, friends with dreams of making a career in esports, team up to realize their aspirations. Ye Qiu had been hesitant to pursue his dream for personal reasons until now. The duo gets support from their boss, Tao Xuan, who owns the Excellent Era internet cafe where they plan their strategy. They name their team after the cafe and set their sights on becoming the champion of Glory by defeating all their opponents.
