Foo, a gentle boy without any friends, lives with his grandmother. He ventures onto the mountain to collect herbs to heal his grandmother's illness, but gets lost. Luckily, a red-skinned demon boy called Smoochy comes to his rescue. The two lonely children quickly become friends and form an unbreakable bond while playing together.
