Various issues are pushing the Daichi family to the brink of collapse. Seiko, the mother who prioritizes money, is dissatisfied with her timid and nerdy husband, Mamoru, and is pursuing a divorce. Nozomi, their daughter, is overwhelmed with household responsibilities and harbors resentment over her family's reliance on her. Meanwhile, Dai, the youngest member, observes the turmoil unfolding. Nevertheless, the Daichi family gets an opportunity to not only safeguard the planet against alien threats with the Galaxy Federation's enlistment but also to rebuild their crumbling relationships.
