Hiroshi Ibuki, a deep-sea archeologist, is part of a team of excavators whose goal is to unveil the roots of Earth's creation. However, their endeavor led them to discover an enigmatic community of bacteria emitting light akin to the Aurora Borealis. These prehistoric bacteria, when revived, endeavor to transform the planet into a suitable habitat for their kind, consequently eradicating all current life and bringing Earth back to its primordial state.
