Jin Kazama and his mother, Jun, overcame many challenges due to their family's martial arts style. However, a terrifying demon invades their home with a bloodlust for Jun, and they are powerless against its relentlessness. Jun commands Jin to find his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima, before she and the demon vanish in an explosive end. Despite arriving at his grandfather's home, Jin is treated like a stranger. Nevertheless, Heihachi recognizes that Ogre is the cause of the Kazamas' tragedy and takes Jin under his wing for rigorous training.
