General Pepper banished Andross, an ape, from the Lylat Planetary System, but in seeking revenge, Andross attacks the planet of Corneria and holds Pepper hostage. Meanwhile, Team Star Fox, a group of space mercenaries, spends their days gaming and learning from mentors. That all changes when the team receives a distress call from someone they know. Fox McCloud, son of the late James McCloud, and his crew of Slippy Toad, Falco Lombardi, and Peppy Hare, courageously face off against Andross's robot army in an effort to save Corneria from danger.
