Despite being the exemplary daughter of Hoshima's top project manager, Satomi Amano finds herself isolated from her peers due to her reputation as an accomplished model student. Regrettably, this is an obstacle she is unlikely to overcome. One average day before school, Satomi discovers her mother's latest project- an AI that aims to prove the feasibility of robots coexisting with humans. Curious about the imminent project, Satomi heads to school, only to be greeted by the AI, Shion Ashimori, who disguises herself as a typical teenager to blend in amongst her human classmates. However, Shion's intentions extend beyond fulfilling research goals- she aims to bring happiness to Satomi by utilizing her talent in singing to create harmonies that will not only build new relationships for her but also ease Satomi's pain.
