The collapse of Asahi's character in the popular online game Union not only resulted in her virtual death, but also caused the disbandment of the Subaru group once the game was shut down. After six years, Haruto makes a comeback to the revamped version of Re'Union to revive his relationship with Asahi, only to doubt whether he is dealing with the real thing or just a computer-generated replica.
