Maeda Toshiie and Matsu inform the regional ruler, Chousokabe Motochika, about Nobunaga's unrealistic demands during their visit to Shikoku. However, Motochika does not comply and instead urges Maeda to revolt against Nobunaga. Meanwhile, Keiji tries to convince Mouri Motonari to join the fight against Nobunaga but ends up being imprisoned. As a result, tensions between Motochika and Motonari increase, and they become adversaries.
