With his seventh gym badge under their belt, they journey towards their next destination until Eureka spots an unknown Pokémon in her pochette, later named Puni-chan. Zukan fails to identify it, yet Team Flare strives to capture Puni-chan to advance their goals. The gang fights back against the malicious organization, realizing their wicked intentions towards the new companion. As the threatening predictions of Gojika loom over them, Satoshi strives for his final gym badge while Serena aims to achieve her last Princess Key and compete in the TriPokalon Master Class. Unfortunately, Team Flare's hunt for a mysterious Z throws off their plans, blending the paths of Pokemon XY and Pokemon XY: Mega Evolution together. Amidst the pandemonium, Satoshi and his crew, along with Team Rocket, get caught in a dangerous plot that could potentially endanger the entire Kalos region.
