ZINGS, a duo composed of Kazuki Yoshino and Yuuya Niyodo, is an idol sensation. Kazuki is known for his passion and dedication to each performance, while Yuuya only sees it as a way to make money. Due to Yuuya's lackadaisical attitude towards their fans and work, his manager issues him an ultimatum to shape up or ship out. During their time backstage, Yuuya meets Asahi Mogami, a colorful idol costume-clad girl who died a year ago. As a ghost, Asahi still longs to entertain audiences. When she discovers that Yuuya doesn't share the same ardor for the idol life that she does, she becomes furious and demands to take his place by possessing him. Yuuya thinks Asahi's possession is the ticket to an easy life as an idol, with Asahi performing for him. However, Asahi has other plans, despite being dead; she desires for Yuuya to find the passion she still has. She wants the two of them to become the greatest idols in the world. Can Yuuya ever hope to aspire to anything beyond money while being lazy and unenthusiastic?
