For generations, the Mizuchi bloodline has been relentlessly pursued by Yokai, which are often referred to as monsters. Noboru and Toru Takagami belong to this lineage and have been bestowed with a powerful weapon by their grandmother to fight off these creatures: a shape-shifting fox deity named Tenko Kugen who can assume the form of a human. Accompanying the mischievous deity is Ko, a shrine maiden who will reside with the Takagami siblings in their home, adding complexity to their lives.
