Starving on their small boat, Luffy, Zoro, and Nami were suddenly attacked by a colossal monster. During the fight, Nami was taken away, and Luffy and Zoro found themselves stranded on a nearby shore. It was there that they met Medaka, a young girl who shared with them the tragic backstory of the island. Medaka's father, along with all the men in her village, had been enslaved by the villainous Pirate Ganzack. Determined to save both the villagers and Nami, Luffy, Zoro, and Medaka devised a plan to infiltrate Ganzack's stronghold.
