Hiroshi Odokawa is an idiosyncratic and frank walrus leading a comparatively mundane existence. His livelihood revolves around driving a taxi, providing him with the opportunity to encounter an assortment of distinct characters: the unemployed and social media-obsessed Taichi Kabasawa, enigmatic nurse Miho Shirakawa, comedic duo "Homo Sapiens" grappling with financial challenges, and notorious troublemaker Dobu. However, Odokawa's uncomplicated lifestyle takes a dramatic turn as he finds himself at the center of a missing girl investigation pursued by law enforcement and unsavory figures such as yakuza members and a pair of corrupt cops.
