Amidst the dire circumstances in the outskirts of Nagasaki, a young doctor tends to his patients at a converted theological seminary. The year is 1945 and unsettling news arrives that the Americans have utilized a new weapon on the city of Hiroshima. Fate's unforgiving sense of irony strikes as another nuclear weapon is dropped on Nagasaki, resulting in concentric circles of death.
