A boy named Genki is fond of indulging in video games. Unexpectedly, he gets transported into the universe of Monster Rancher where he encounters Holly, along with the creatures Mochi, Suezo, Golem, Tiger and Hare. Their joint mission revolves around the resurrection of the Phoenix, the sole beast with the power to combat the wicked entity, Moo.
