Season two of the Monogatari Series comprises of two parts; the first part features five enthralling arcs, namely Tsubasa Tiger, Mayoi Jiangshi, Nadeko Medusa, Shinobu Time, and Hitagi End. These arcs delve into the contents of the five light novels, namely Nekomonogatari White, Kabukimonogatari, Otorimonogatari, Onimonogatari, and Koimonogatari. After successfully driving away the bee apparition and the phoenix apparition without any repercussions, Koyomi Araragi and his companions braced themselves for yet another school term characterized by supernatural experiences that could be more complicated than the previous ones. The second season boasts five new stories exploring different themes such as loneliness, confessions, and departures of characters such as Tsubasa Hanekawa, Mayoi Hachikuji, Nadeko Sengoku, Shinobu Oshino, and Hitagi Senjougahara. Moreover, in the televised version of the second season, three recap episodes (Episodes 6, 11, and 16) are featured, but they are not included in the anime's Blu-Ray version.
