Alfred Izuruha, a young boy of ten, seeks respite from the monotony of schoolwork by monitoring the progress of the ongoing war between Zeon and the Earth Federation, and indulging in his passion for military memorabilia. The Side 6 space colony, where he resides, is a neutral haven amidst the conflict, but rumors of a covert Federation mobile suit development program have brought Zeon special forces to their doorstep. Despite the danger, Alfred is thrilled to witness the action up close, but as the situation escalates and desperation mounts on both sides, he may soon discover the gruesome realities of war firsthand.
