As an African researcher's child, Kasumi Haruno, a grade four student, visits Kasumi Town to bid her parents goodbye. The center of the town is the Kasumi family's grand mansion, hidden in a dense forest. During her stay, the hosts will cater to Kasumi's needs. The mansion possesses an enigmatic ambiance, and Kasumi incidentally uncovers a group of utensils that can talk, known as "Henamon." In addition, Kasumi must help with domestic chores, such as cooking and doing laundry. With an enthralling cast of characters, Kasumi commences a new phase of her life.
