Four countries exist in the Odin Mainland, each guarded by a group of soul masters possessing soul powers. The top seven members of these groups are known as Noble Lords. Our story begins in the Aslan Empire, located near the water source. Qi Ling, a busboy at an inn, has unconsciously become a master of the legendary soul beast Ice Fang after a battle between soul masters. The Silver Priest sends Yin Chen (Kris Wu) to recruit Qi Ling as his apprentice, and they head to the Grave of the Souls to retrieve Qi Ling's soul weapon. However, Qi Ling's restless nature leads him to explore the Grave with Tianshu You Hua and Guishan Lian Quan, and he becomes caught up in the brewing storm - a clash between the lords' soul powers. Meanwhile, a well-planned conspiracy within the Aslan Empire surfaces. While searching for Qi Ling, Yin Chen discovers that his former mentor, the former 1st lord Gilgamesh, may still be alive. He risks everything to find him. You Ming and Thalia, responsible for carrying out the Silver Priest's orders, attempt to assassinate Guishan Lian Quan and her sibling, Guishen Feng Hun. A battle between the lords and apprentices for truth and integrity ensues.
