During the challenging times of Meiji 38 (1905), amidst the rapidly intensifying Russo-Japanese War which commenced the year prior, the Raimu Squad underwent a reorganization. This squad was composed of ordinary school-going girls who yearned for affection but possessed distinct abilities known as "Raimu." A zealous young man named Inukai Tsuyoshiro was appointed as the new chief of the Raimu Squad. Upon his introduction to the five girls, the story of "Raimu" took on a new dimension.
