In the show, a sly toy company called "Wiz" (also known as Dark Wiz Company) comes across crystals containing the genetic makeup of "Legendz" monsters. They exploit these crystals and turn them into a battle game. After a baseball game, Shu, a young boy, receives one of these crystals, which is referred to as a "soul figure", from his father. The game becomes incredibly popular, and children everywhere begin to play it. Wiz employees start to track down Shu because his soul figure has an extraordinary ability - it can revive real-life Legendz, not just the digital images used in the game. How will Shu defend himself and claim his own soul figure, and ultimately fight his way to victory?
