After celebrating Christmas with her newfound friends on a camping venture, Rin Shima embarks on a solitary excursion to witness the dawn of the New Year beside the ocean. However, her itinerary is overshadowed when sudden inclement weather obstructs her path home, rendering a return voyage hopeless. With no choice but to remain stranded for a couple of days, Nadeshiko Kagamihara kindly extends an invitation for Rin to lodge at her grandmother's residence. Although originally intended as a brief jaunt, Rin's timeline unexpectedly stretches out with ample opportunities for exploration and novel experiences, punctuated by reunions with both familiar and unfamiliar faces.
